Literary Listings is a website dedicated to showcasing the vibrant literary culture in Melbourne and regional Victoria. We also share details of writers festivals held in all other states of Australia. My name is Jill Langhammer and I created this website and associated Instagram account in 2020.

Melbourne has a long, rich and treasured history of writers, literary organisations, such as Writers Victoria and The Wheeler Centre and a flourishing publishing industry. There are a myriad of independent booksellers, and over 290 public libraries, including Australia’s oldest library, the State Library of Victoria.

Literary Listings predominantly features Melbourne and regional Victorian based bookshop, library events and writers festivals. Literary tourism is flourishing in Australia and we are happy to share our well-researched and comprehensive list of all Australian-wide literary festivals.
